Turds catch a big break [Utah v UF game thread]

Isn’t Utah’s back up QB out as well so the third string QB is now starting?
With the likelihood of a decision about Rising coming down to the wire, that puts a lot of pressure on backup quarterbacks Bryson Barnes and Nate Johnson to be prepared in the event he doesn’t get cleared.

Barnes edge out Johnson recently for the backup job, but Whittingham revealed the competition was close and that regardless of whether Rising or Barnes starts on Thursday, fans will also see Johnson as well.

“Nate has really closed the gap,” Whittingham said. “You have to weigh everything- you have Barnes who won the Washington State game and performed very well in the Ohio State game when he went in.

As long as Mertz is under center, gator will not score. I think Utah will play bully ball and suffocate defensively. I took Utah and the points, which I don’t think covers now, but I wouldn’t be shocked if gator was held to about 200 yards. 23-16 type of game

dunno, looks like Barnes is a better passer than Rising, but not as good of a QB. Don't think Utah's plans change.

Tbf I thought ground and pound was the game plan regardless. Just think there will be decrease in efficiency with new QB. Utah is far and away the better team and at home

Not going to get much credit if they beat them without him. Will get clowned on if they lose. No win situation for them.
Doubt that.

Gators are in the SEC mafia. We will hear all year how the pathetic under .500 gators went on the road and beat one of the PACs best… 🙄

Now if it was Miami…. You know the drill…

Under if anything. Going to be a rock fight. Utah starting a TF LT.

Do as you please but you missed all the good numbers. And I say that as a salty MF, cause I did too. I didn't play it a couple weeks ago when I saw 7.5...so it's a pass for me right now at 4.5 and just hope the gators get pounded.
I took the 7.5 but am regretting it. Still think Utes win, but not by much.

Pac12 could look really weak if Utah doesn't win and UF proceeds to drop 6 games.

Top teams toughest out of conference games:
Oregon @ Texas Tech
USC@ND
Utah vs UF
Utah @Baylor
Washington vs Boise
Washington@MichSt
The conference will cease to exist next year. The conference is weak as ****.
