Also good chance to win a bowl game this year dont think we should have any opt outs.if king was still our qb pretty sure he would have opted out and we would be breaking in a new guy for the bowl game.
 
I love what Rosier is doing and he is a future coach in the making.

BUT I hate that Roseir is prepping TVD on things that Roseir wasn’t prepped on himself. Why in the world wasn’t Rosier prepped. Who is doing our QB coaching? Oh that’s right it was Jon Richt for Rosier.
if we are serious about being good in football then we have to recognize that the arms race right now is in analysts. I guarantee you that Bama and OSU’s quarterbacks are being prepped on everything in house because they have so many coaches and analysts to do this work. It’s not just about how much we pay the head coach as there are still only 24 hours in a day. We need a larger “staff”.

Please list all the great players who are great coaches, because I can quadruple your list with average players. Nick Saban was a **** of a defensive back at Kent State. So was Urban Meyer at Cincinnati. How about walk-on Dabo Swinney at Alabama?

Yes, say what you will about Malik as a player, but he was a tough and smart kid.

Even in jest, why we attack kids who did nothing but work and positively represent this university is mind boggling.

I know you are most likely kidding, but I want to make a general point.

Rosier admitted he did not start watching film until he started playing. The point is our former players are still available and reaching out.

I agree that a larger staff is definitely needed in the college football arms race.
 
Rosier knew what to do but didn't have the talent to do it most of the time..he did the best he could...kid left it on the field...if he could teach TVD that with the talent that TVD has...let's go.

That FSU game where he pumped up the crowd before throwing the game winning TD will be one of my favorite moments for a long time.

He was also being coached to go against his instincts with Richt and co, no matter how successful or how well it worked out

he was limited physically. He did his best and I'll always love what he did against FS poo.

Sure but what does it say about him when he can't follow it up with a third class due to not being able to win games against teams he was favored in? The past two classes have been great but they still haven't been coached up and there are too many holes throughout the roster. The foundation is no good unless you continue to build quality on it. The '22 class will most likely not build upon the foundation and that falls on his shoulders.

I'm sure he was expecting to go at least 10-2, win the coastal easily, compete and win in the ACCCG and beyond, and bring in the big fish. He put all his eggs in that basket and looks like he will not be able to follow through on his promise of "wait and watch the finish." Instead he most likely won't be employed here next season or maybe not even make it to the end of the year.
