IMO this interview also sheds light on what our OL rotating spots are doing... god forbid 2 roommate lineman come down with Covid.. we're gonna need a few guys that can play all over the line.
I explained this in multiple threads yesterday.

The staff knows who the starting 5 will be, they're just building depth & strengthening the 2 deep by making sure their won't be a drastic drop off in play in the event they have to reshuffle the line if any of the starters goes does or God forbid any of them get that Bill Gates Wuhan virus.

Amari Carter is a good interview, Doesnt just answer with the typical athlete handbook answers.

Also shout out to the player that got blown up back 2 back weeks in high school by Amari and Gurvan, sheesh..
They didn't play with each other in HS, Gurvan started out at PBL & then transferred to PBG for his Senior season.

By the time he got to PBG Amari was already a Hurricane.

Lincoln Riley said today one of his position groups is wiped out but for one guy with positive Covid tests. He declined to say which group but did say it's a position they need multiple guys on the field....

they just had 6 more positive tests, bringing the total to 17 guys who are "recovering". comes after he gave them a couple of days off

Yea, Gurvan made comment that he went to game to watch Amari and Amari caught a body. Next week his team played and he caught same kid..

Not sure if wrote it confusing you. Never said on same team, they played same opponent

Huff should get a look at striker since lb the depth is better than expected. He’s still a little undersized , he’d be a good fit. Just my opinion.
I agree. I always thought with his length and experience at safety while at STA would serve him well here as a possible striker.

Have there been any reports on Joyner? I don’t recall hearing anything about him. Is he still hurt? Playing LB? DE? Still on team?
Haven’t heard him mentioned. Wonder if he’s hurt? Seems like the main 3 will be McCloud, Jennings, and Brooks with maybe Steed 4th.
