Due to overnight conditions in the Coral Gables area last night, the playing surface at Mark Light Field has been deemed unplayable, forcing the cancellation of tonight’s game against FIU.

Miami will return to action Thursday, hosting Louisville for a three-game series beginning at 7 p.m. in its final regular-season home series at Mark Light Field this season.

Are we even on the hosting bubble after last weekend's calamity?

That's now one home game vs Florida and one home game vs FIU cancelled. We wait all year to watch this team play for 3 months, and now they're pulling the rug out from under us because of some misguided notion that we're contenders for hosting. We might still be in the hosting convo mathematically, but that would mean going like 5-1 over these final two series I would imagine.

We’re a projected 3 seed according to baseball America. The false hope ended last weekend while JD ****ed down his legs 2 days straight highlighting his incompetence
