TUA to bring 400+ family members to Natty game

I can understand Rose portraying the blind eye. Fab 5 was at the forefront of pointing out the iniquities of the NCAA system. Looking out for the young athletes getting theirs. Also, spare me the Nick Saban BS. Urban Meyer (whom I dont respect in many ways) won at Bowling Green, Utah, Florida, and Ohio State. Nick Saban has never attained that level of success where he did not have significant advantages over the competition. What he's doing should be the expectation when the social, political, and economic support of a state is behind your program.

IIRC Tua and his family are extremely well-off financially. Before Bama.

I still know that Bama and the $EC cheats on a daily basis paying players. Just saying I don’t know if this is related.

If they were well off financially they certainly hid it really really well. I used to drive past their house in Ewa Beach on my way to work. Not exactly a place or neighborhood where you find wealthy people.

This year must have been a boon for pineapples and macadamia nuts....figuring an average of just a grand a round trip ticket that a big chunk for even a “ well off “ family.

I suspect that Emmett will be chartering a couple of 747’s under the guise of the ncaa to get them all here.

Tickets, hotels, plane tickets, food, transportation x 400. This is easily high six figures

Hawaii airports are never cheap either

That makes this even more fishy. Why would a well off family uproot their stable situation, move the entire family to another state, try re-establish themselves in new jobs for what's basically a 4-year rental (7-8 years if his brother sticks)?

Didn't make sense.

Players should be allowed to profit off their likeness. Players should be able to declare sooner than 3 years into college. Good for him if he capitalizes on free market dynamics that the corrupt NCAA tries to prevent. They're already costing him millions so he should take all he can get under the table.
