Tua coming back....

They would win one meaningless game to many and blow it......that's the Dolphins way

I think there is inconsistency to his game. He certainly flashes physical potential but his play doesn't always match that. Not sure how that inconsistency will translate to the pros.
Hes had some games where he has looked not very good at all. He has had games he has looked great.
Not saying he would be a bad pick.
Just my opinion

The only way Tua wasn't coming back was if he was a lock to go #1 and Bama won the Natty.

He and his family get taken care of way too well by the boosters there for him to leave otherwise. Wouldn't be surprised if he'll clear several million next season at Bama, in addition to everything else his family gets. He's that important to the program.

Meanwhile, we have guys like Bandy who don't even want to leave but feel like that have to because of how tough things are financially. That's the reality of college football now, and even with a non-incompetent coach/admin we'd still be on the short end of the stick of it

Maaaan I know **** well y'all really didn't want Tua on the Dolphins anyway right?? Tell me y'all didn't. This is great news for us Phins. Rather have Burrow(this yr) or Lawrence (next yr) anyway.

Clears several million.... kids get paid. Families get taken care of. Several million? You’re so wrong it’s laughable.

Dolphins are not using a top draft pick on a QB with a bad leg. Was not going to happen. Since draft picks have set salaries now, there is a huge financial drop between going top 3 and getting picked in the 15-25 range, which is where Tua would probably fall due to the questions about his effectiveness after the knee injury.

It is a better financial decision for him to go back to college, show he is healthy, Bama probably makes playoffs next year and he very likely goes 1-2 with Trevor Lawrence and makes 33 mil with 22 guarantee vice 12 mil with 7 guaranteed if he ends up going 20th.
Or he waits until 2022 to come out.

Also, no guarantee that there will be an NFL season in 2021.

And we have players leaving to go bag groceries at the local super market.

But but but Manny fixed the culture BRO
You need to read the Bryce Gowdy story this morning in the Sun Sentinel. It might open your eyes, it opened mine.

fair. I think the right system would be helpful because he has all the tools in the world.

Not seeing this actually confirmed anywhere but here's to both of his knees and ankles getting permanently blown up during the first contact he faces in practice.

Neg away if you like but this kid has been bought and paid for, his family is dirty as **** AND it's horrible for the actual competitive balance of college football when certain schools get away not only with buying recruits but now paying players to stay.

But no worries as this will be instantly spun by the SEC apologist media and consumed by simpleton fans as the kid just loving Baga and the college life. Yup another Matt Leinart here. Nothing to see. Move along!
I agree, this kid needs to revive his Baseball offers and go the Bo route. He could have a long career in mlb, as opposed to the nfl, and going the Pat White route and getting smoked by mid season year 1, and done. Just sayin

There isn't a single thing about this anywhere so fake news. I seriously doubt he does come back but not impossible.

That still makes no sense financially. A team would’ve taken him in the first round for sure.

That’s millions guaranteed that even bama boosters couldn’t match. He plays at bama and gets another serious injury that would be it for him especially getting drafted in the first round.
Insurance can only cover so much. Don’t believe they include endorsements etc.

Bandy, Garvin, Dallas, Thomas came here with the intent of playing for 3 years and then entering draft. They didn't come here to compete for titles and further the Miami legacy. They came here because this is NFL U.

Dolphins are fine with Fitzpatrick for one more year. They can get their QB later in this years draft or next year.

Exactly!! We don't need to get a star QB. As Dolphin fans were just happy winning a few games. LOL :02.47-tranquillity:
