Totally illogical. He’d be a top ten pick this year. If he doesn’t return to form he still makes cash if he goes this year. If he goes next year he can possibly go undrafted if he can’t comeback, or even in the best case scenario he returns to normal but still has to compete with fields and Lawrence. No upside to returning, and lots of potential downside.
