The SEC's best versus the ACC's best showed the country the talent gap is not as vast as ESPN and all the SEC sycophants spew. It was really impressive seeing Bama being beat in the trenches.

Clemson had that game won but mistakes and a key player injured swayed the game in Bama's favor. But that's football. The best team doesn't always win. Last night, Clemson was the better team and everyone, whether they admit or not, knows it.

It's not the talent at the top, it's the depth of talent from top to bottom.

Both teams had grown men. The size and athleticism gap between Miami and Clemson/Bama is astronomical.

What I saw was that Clemson had the most talented player on the field and without him Bama wins easy. Take Deshaun Watson away from Clemson and they don't stand a chance. On the flip side, there wasn't really one player you could say the same about with Alabama.

Last night showed me that miami needs to recruit nationally even more so, did you see what deshaun Watson and Wayne gallman was doing to bamas heralded 5 star defense? Also the drive that the south Florida advocates only say the south Florida athletes have or its just different... No it's not. Find me another player that will compete harder than those two did last night.

Watson was the difference. Saban said he tried the trick play because their defense was gassed.

Clemson lost that game more than bama won. The blown coverages and special teams play lost it for them.

don't too caught up in that "5 star defense". bama struggles to defend spread option teams. it's more of an issue of having favorable matchups and style of play. bama looks great when they play the power i running teams. not so great when you spread them out.

Agree with OP. I was very impressed with Clemson's DL play. They destroyed Cristobal's OL all night.

And if Alexander doesn't go down Clemson wins that game.

Oh well.

Yeah. If Clemson could of had half decent coverage that game would not of even been close. It didn't help that for some reason the refs refused to call PI or block in the back against Alabama.

Exactly, you can tell who they wanted to win. Clemsons dline was held for majority of the night

Who gives a fck about the bottom? Only redneck retards who chant "SEC! SEC!" care about comparing the worst teams in a conference to the worst teams in another conference. They're losers trying to gravy train winners. **** at the bottom is **** at the bottom.

hand clemson the 2016 acc ship already, its a wrap

This. Us and FSU will give them a fight for their lives but we are just not there yet. Last night showed me that we can win 10 games, get the ACC title game, lose a close one to Clemson and get ready for a run at it all in 2017.

That said, Bama was just too deep. They were rotating 7-8 Dlineman throughout that game. We have a ways to go before we can even sniff a rotation of QUALITY lineman like that.

Christobal is clearly the weak link on that staff. That is not a typical ALA Oline. Probably the worst of all of Sabans championship teams. He better be glad he can recruit.

Amazing how the game changed once Alexander went out. A dominating DB can still change a defense.

Good game and Clemson can hold their head high. ALA was just the better team "top to bottom" although Clemson had better players "top" wise.

Three major blown coverages defnitley cost them the game. If Alexander doesnt go out they win easily. Also that clock issue in the second q cost them points.

Disagree. That DE Dodd was the best player on the field. Tha guy wrecked **** all night.
