Ok, but this is my website. I can determine what can and cannot be posted on my website. The fact that the gov stepped in and decided that Twitter needs to abide by certain rules is an absolute disgrace.

But you don't actually own the website. And in this specific case, where Twitter has advertised itself as a free speech zone, it should not be allowed to ban content of anyone that does not break a law.

I am talking hypothetically. Had I started up twitter. I would be furious if the gov came in and demanded I run it a certain way.

Also that last part is not entirely correct. They lost the right to say they are a free speech zone and now have the rights to ban people for whatever they want. As it should be in a free country.
