Probably doesn't want the added pressure on the kids or himself if NONE of them are allowed. If there are just a select few not allowed then that's to be expected. No coach is going to let you bad mouth him or his staff(even if deservedly) and then stand on his sidelines.

I bet they will have some press box area where all the players will be instead as an "accomodation."

I'm not sure how they ever make the former players on the sidelines thing work. I'd imagine UM gets tons of requests from former players for sideline passes. I wonder how they determine who gets them and who doesn't.

I'm all for bashing Golden but I don't really blame him in this case.. Buchanon bashes this staff constantly.. Did he actually expect them to roll out the red carpet for him to attend our biggest game? Nothing to see here.
