Trouble on the horizon for fsu?

They're still have the #3 recruiting class and will most likely finish top 5 so I would say they are not in trouble, not to mention they actually have real coaches.

-Their best players is Levonta Taylor.
-Like someone said earlier, Upshur has been leaning towards FSU.
-McCloud has nothing but positive things to say about FSU and some feel like he wil flip.
-They are in the top 3 for a top 5 OLB.

LOL at trying to downplay their recruiting. Doesn't matter if all they have is one guy, he's doing better than our entire staff. With all of that said, they don't win more than 9 games this year.

Without Duke and Brad we win same amount of games or more. Every win we had was a blowout. Heaps may have won vs Lville or Nebraska. Brads the better QB but Jake was much mire season and we were good enough to beat either of those teams. Kayaa obv wasnt ready and was big reason why we lost. I dont blame him he was a True Freshman thrown out there vs tough DEF and hostile envirements in 1st 2 starts. People keep saying what are we gonna do without Duke. He didnt deliver 1 win we wouldnt have already had last season.

One of the most monumentally stupid posts in the history of internet message boards. Congratulations.

Name me 1 game that we would have lost that we won if Duke/Brad were not there, then tell me again whats stupid about the statement.

I must have missed something back in pre-school. We might have been better off without the RB that broke OJ Anderson's career rushing record. And better if the true freshman QB who's FIRST drive on opening NIGHT primetime National game against team that had just bet the living crap out of us was a sustained TD drive? Then came back against Nebraska and does the same frigging thing? We might have done better without those TWO? Care to recall Bernie Kosar's first game? Look it up. You have got to be Al Golden or a family member. Kid gave Al's smarter than anybody's defense in the lead in both those AWAY games. A decent coach wins those games. A good coach and Brad was in NY on Heisman night and maybe takes the trophy home.

Al Golden was handed three NFL running backs for his first 4 years. There are coaches who go their entire careers without that. The man cannot coach. Duke Johnson and Brad Kaaya CAN play football.

Didnt say we were better off without Duke. I said in the win column we were equal if not better without him and Brad. The better part was i think we beat Lville with Heaps. Yes Brad started off well but when the presure came he threw a few bad ints that ended up costing us the game. But in tru Canes fashion once we got behind the defense let us down big time.

Somebody went full ******......

Most of what i said is a fact. The only opinion part was that Heaps would have beat Lville. Go back and watch the film of Brad in that 1st start vs Lville. They gave him easy playaction throws and over the top shots in 1st half. Thats all. Once Canes got behind they were forced to let him read defense and make contested throws and he was terrible, and completely in over his head, as can be expected. Nebraska defense was bad last year, although i was impressed with Brad's poise he showed on the road. That loss is on the defense inability to stop Abdullah. Brad, while not great did enough to win.

McCloud ain't flipping to FSU

You never know. He visited FSU yesterday

"#Miami commit Zach McCloud spent the day at #FSU on Tuesday: "They didn’t...bash Miami like other schools try to do”

"#Miami LB commit Zach McCloud on a possible flip:

Well, any school has a shot. It’s just a hard shot to make

As I Cane, all I care about is beating them. Out recruiting them is only part of the equation because we had enough talent to beat them last year.

They won the title 2 years ago, are loaded, have good coaching and will be in the title hunt again. There is nothing for FSU to worry about. They'll sign a big-time class again....

Loaded where ? They only deep at wr and rb

Their depth and talent is worse than ours in the front 7. Lb in particular is horrible for them. Our starting dbs and backup safeties are comparable to their db group

a quick google search for FSU's front 7 reveals the following:

DE Josh Sweat - 5 star
DE Demarcus Walker - 4 star
DE Lorenzo Featherston - 4 star
DE Chris Casher - 4 star
DT Derrick Nnadi - 4 star
DT Darvin Taylor - 4 star
DT Keith Bryant - 4 star
DT Demarcus Christmas - 4 star
DT Arthur Williams - 4 star
LB Matthew Thomas - 5 star
LB Delvin Purifoy - 4 star
LB Jacob Pugh - 4 star
LB Reggie Northrup - 4 star
LB Shmar Kilby Lane - 4 star

hardly "worse than ours" as you put it.

Besides that, we lost to teams with far less talent than us like Pitt and UVA. Does anyone still trust Golden against this kind of talent?

Purifoy looks like a fullback now lol and Thomas is hurt, if you actually read reports on their team they would tell you their linebacker situation is horrible. Our dline group as hard as it is to believe was better than theirs last year. Chris casher and walker have done nothing but take up space.

We can list our group too

5star De Chad Thomas
5star De Gerald Willis
4star De Alquadin Muhammad
4star De Demetrious Jackson
4star DeTrent Harris
4star De Scott patchan
4star dt Mike whyche
4star dt Anthony moten
3star dt courtel Jenkins
3star dt Calvin huertelu
4star lb Raphael Kirby
4star lb jermaine grace
4star lb darrion Owens
4star lb Tyriq McCord

Exactly, I tell folks on my job all the time that UM is stacked year in and year out, and would create nightmare match-ups with any opponent if only we had decent coaching, not even good coaching. And now our defense has experience to boot

this is bad news. them losing their recruits = them poaching ours

This. FSU will end with a better class than Miami. Have we had a higher ranked class than them one time since 2008?

THis ****** staff and admin will find a way to ***** up our "swag 16" class, guaranteed

I wish Miami had FSU's crooting problems.

This ^^. I'm still going to laugh at them tho because they lost 2 5* in one week. Although, they got Rasul, we'll be OK at RB. Hate fsux.
Who else they lost?

They lost 5* TE Nauta and 5* Shavar Manual (who they thought was a lock, but had not committed, although some said he was a silent) has declared a top 3 of AU, LSU and UGA. All 3 were $EC schools.

Miami has a better class than FSU does right now.

They are 3rd and 30 points ahead of miami on 247 composite. With 4 less commits and 2 kickers...

who cares what rankings say. we do have a better class right now. you really think 2 kickers are better then 2 of our lowest players?

The level of stupidity exhibited on this board is truly astounding.

Rasul told the Herald exactly why he decommited and his logic makes sense - UM goes 6-7 with NFL players at plenty of skill positions last season. In all likelihood, UM will be just as bad, if not worse, next season. Given his track record of poor performance, there is a good chance Golden and his staff are not retained following next season. Given that recruiting these days is primarily based on relationships with coaches and the desire to play for a winning program, Rasul's rationale to flipping makes all the sense in the world.

Yet, here, we still have dolts claiming he's afraid of competition. Truly a staggering level of stupidity.

To me he committed and was planning to wait it out for al to be fired. But then FSU came and courted him and in reality for a top recruit its a no brainer. Fsu's facilities, coaching, and winning track record are top notch. Look what miami has to offer football wise. NFL track record yes but kids wanna win too.

Sorry, I meant the two kickers are part of their "points" so really they are 6 commits behind but still ahead 30 points. They have a good class.

One low 4 star is 15 points, 1 high 4 star is 20 points, and 1 5 star is 30, to give you an idea.

Bruce, Byrd, and Allison getting bumps would still be only about 20 points.

LSU might finish with #1 class, but if they underperform like usual those kids will look elsewhere, so FDU isn't out of it with Mullen or Manuel. FSU can still win 8-9 games and sell kids on "rebuilding", so it's stupid to pretend they won't finish with a better class.

Who on FSU's commit list is better than Sam Bruce? Joseph Jackson is better than Janarius Robinson. Ahmmon Richards is better than Keith Gavin, Travis Homer is better than Amir Rasul, all of Miami's LB's are better also. They have the better class.
