I can see why that may be the thinking, but when are y'all gonna learn that Brian Kelly is an ELITE recruiter.

He has never not been good at it.

It's like Jimbo Fisher, where on the outsiders don't get it bc the guy comes off as a goofball, but for whatever reason, recruits have always fw him.

I agree...until recently. I think the southern accent, the cringy videos, the death...that stuff has piled up and while I am sure he still has the gift of gab because most coaches do; flash a few extra dollars now and they can look past some things.

But i def think this is a massive year for him

They have had solid QB stability for awhile and next in line is Michael Van Buren who was a true freshman starter at Miss State. Texas AM is different, they can just outbid everyone if they truly want someone, we can't do that. You think Nussmeier will be the overall #1 pick next season? Are you giving odds on this because I am taking them. I thought he was extremely, extremely underwhelming and average last season. Maybe he makes a HUGE jump, but I didn’t see it.

I thought this was an interesting comment after his visit:

“I want to be in the number one offense…if you got the number one offense, why not go however far to go check it out?”
