I see we've shifted to the "flip em before signing day" talking point.

It all sounds so scripted. Miami is in the game. I continue to hear good things. Another team upped their offer. Recruiting is fluid. We'll keep trying until the ink dries. We're saving our resources for the portal.

This isn't about the staff. So spare me the white knighting bull****. Mario isn't the one out here making it sound like we're thiiiis close to landing these guys.

Would be surprised if he’s on staff this time next year to put it bluntly, per some people in the know.

It’s not just this cycle, it’s how people perceive him overall. Weird cat allegedly. No ill will towards the guy, and I think he’s fine at what he does, but we need an alpha WR coach eventually. He’s not elite.

Hopefully he turns it around and our WRs ball out on the field this year. The latter not coming to fruition would certainly be the nail in the coffin for him at Miami, no matter who he pulls in.

Anyways, this is a Keys thread and not a bash Beard thread. Hopefully we keep the foot on the gas here and get off to a hot start on the field.

Winning cures all. Win, and the recruits will come.

I like what beard does as an on field coach but apparently he doesn't have pull w/ the 5 star WR we feel we should be getting..What WR coaches would be a realistic upgrade for Miami?

He is who he has always been,I remember when he was a player here it was posted on the old grassy board that he was a weird dude and there were always rumors about him.
