He was whooped the entire game by Mesidor, Bain, Lightfoot and anyone that lined up on him.

If you have video showing something different I’d love to see it.

He held his own against Bain. Mesidor is the one who embarrassed him.

Zuhn stonewalled Bain on pass pro in the first quarter. But Bain won on running downs throughout the game. Bain is a great passrusher, but he's an elite run-stopper.

Zuhn will play on Sundays but he probably regrets running his ****-sucker, because that TAMU OL absolutely did not "handle" 4.

Bain is a SDE he's amazing at setting the run edge and for a run stopping end, does a good job of rushing the passer.

Has strong power, lean and tackles well, high motor and helps for running or agile QBs.

For someone who “held his own” his qb was sure as hail running for his life because of it.
However, Bain has been doing that to everyone.
Remember when he was a 4 star and central was in that nationwide tour and multiple state titles.
Bain has been doing that to elite tackles since he was a freshman.
His sack numbers in high school looked like lies being told by an alcoholic or a fisherman. And they were against all the top tackles in the best high school teams from all over the country.
How many p4 tackles did he make look silly.
He will be a problem at the next level.
Zuhn is an nfl tackle.
But Bain is just different.

Zuhn is an example on why you should always be respectful. This conversation would be totally different if he said “we’re gonna have to prepare because he’s one of the best defensive ends in the country”. If he had just said that nobody would be dragging him.

NicKane is factually correct. Pete did say that we lacked size and depth on the DL and that Bain would likely go Day 2 due to measureables. Of course, many (most?) fans were pessimistic over the summer due to DT depth and uncertainty at safety/nickel.

Pete's best insight comes from his external connections to NFL-oriented sources. And even though he's a rabid fan, he does his best to frame these statements as predictions, not hopes. I think we're lucky to have that perspective on the CIS pod.

They gave up 7 sacks as a unit and were completely one dimensional… what stopped more sacks given up was reed escaped a couple of times. They were beaten like a drum each and every single one of them

Correct. Bain won the overall battle. I don’t know how anyone could dispute that.

Bain is a very good pass rusher, and elite against the run. Mesidor is the elite pass rusher. He’s the reason Bain got one of those sacks.
