Trey Zuhn = 🫏

Bain did not have a sack against Zuhn.

He will be a great pro.
He had three sacks in the game sport! We sacked their quarterback seven times in the game sport! I’d say our defensive line is plenty big enough and dominant enough sport! Eat Crow on your BS comments in the summertime about our defensive line sport! Especially since you don’t know **** about the game since you never even played it sport!

*** clown, I said I loved our DLine over the summer.

I also picked us to go 11-1. There is no crow to eat

YOU, the *** clown who says I don't know **** who continues giving me clicks, said we had multiple DL over 310 pounds - I said we don't, and we don't. I was right and you were wrong.

If he didn’t then Mesidor nearly had one that Bain cleaned up or Bain had one on Him. Don’t remember which side they were on for that play. Either way, there was more than enough pressure coming from both sides for me .

You are a ******* liar! The summer podcast is their sport, it’s not like it’s vanished into thin air. You called our defensive line, small and thin at depth and not championship caliber! If you don’t believe me, we can go ahead and bring @DMoney into this conversation because I recall on that very same podcast, him calling your lame @ss out saying you were dead wrong! And you still continue to bury your head in the sand. I guess it doesn’t matter how dominant this defensive line is all year, you will never come out and eat your well-deserved crow, and in a perfect world Id take you out on the gridiron and shove that crow down your throat! Your agenda is lame and everyone knows it because guess what, you never even played the game! So you sure as **** ain’t gonna tell me about what this game supposed to look like seeing as you’ve never played down on the field. But go ahead and keep saying how you wish a guy like Horton who never did anything here was still on the team because he’s kind of big! Lol Go talk about basketball sport, at least that’s a sport you’ve actually played! Lol

He actually blocked Bain pretty well. Bain did get him on a tackle for loss and mesidor beat him for a sack

Despite TAMU OT Trey Zuhn saying “I don’t think [Rueben Bain] will be a threat”, Bain was credited with 3 sacks, alongside 3 from Scott and 1.5 from Mesidor

Canes defensive line with a strong performance.

Edit: Also another blocked FG from Bain
Every OT and defense we face will be touted as 'the best in the country', and I don't think it will matter.

There's stats from PFF or opinions from talking heads, and then there's going up against our guys.

For those old enough to remember the '91 Cotton Bowl, Zuhn is the new Stan Thomas.

You can take it down a notch or two.

I thought Zuhn held his own against Bain on most reps early on. But Bain got the FG block matched up on Zuhn. And Mesidor whipped 60 late for a crucial sack.

Anyways, Trey's trash talk wasn't that *he* would neutralize Bain, but that they as a group would handle him. The smirking ***** put his nuts on the table and got humbled.

The Canes OL/DL have the respect that they deserve because they didn’t play in the SEC or the Big 10. The CFP is an opportunity to change that narrative and put some respect on the ACC

The Canes players also have an opportunity to prove they can line up against the best and deserve greater pre-NFL draft respect than they are getting. Ohio State and UGA have respect from the media before they step on the field. However, the Canes will have the respect when they step off the field with a victory.

Why would A&M talk that level of smack? Did they not watch tape on Bain? Seems so stupid to do that. Hubris? Stupid? I do not get that.
I think it was a ploy to get us riled up and play undisciplined which has been a constant problem under Mario. It didn’t work and we played a clean game overall.

They with out a doubt completely handled our DL that first quarter. We were getting no pressure. We started getting some pressure in the second quarter and then took over in the second half.
