Trevon Hill

Lol this is the same thing that got him kicked off VA Tech's team...he's bringing that 757 violent temper to Miami

Not once did he mention Zions name. How tf did you say my comment is dumb and then post this nonsense?

I’ll add Zion Nelson came in as a 245 true freshman in January, gained 40 pounds, and took LT from all other tackles on roster including the all star from American Heritage.

So, while Zion is incredibly overmatched right now, TBH, I don’t think he fits category of south Florida diva.

**** I don’t even get mad at him when the kid whiffs. I get ****ed at the older players who got themselves beat by a freshman.

Knowles has not been bad to be honest he has been serviceable which is a major upgrade from previous years. Patchan shouldn't see the field what so ever he has played the run horrible this year which is what he was best at dude gets no pressure and get of any blocks

this. i know knowles gets hate and most times it was fair, but this year, he's been decent compared to the past. the secondary is incredibly inexperienced and hopefully hall turned the corner. carter is just awful and the corners outside of bandy just need to get reps in (same with Hall). i do think that'll improve as we go this year and itll help cover up some of our deficiencies in the secondary. nesta coming back will help the DL, as well. we've always had good tackles since mannys been here. patchan is fine, but hes gotta see the bench for hill, rousseau

no one is expecting a true freshman LT to be a stud. OL takes time to get right. the others (herbert) need to go find themselves and figure out what they did wrong. also, add cleveland reed into the mix

There have been a lot of posts about the culture problem at Miami and how our players don't seem to hold each other to high standards.

My buddy who works for the team said he laid into the O-line at halftime because Jarren got hurt and had to get a cortisone shot in his throwing shoulder... saying (paraphrasing here) "Everybody was tellin' me to come to the U cuz that's where the dawgs where at... but ya'll some puss *** muphukkas".

We need more guys like this that'll hold their teammates accountable. Too bad he's only here for one year.
"Your buddy who works for the team"??? :stupid:

Its because schools are so strict now. If a kid gets into one fight they are thrown out of school and that is the end of their sports career. When I was a kid teachers would make sure the elite athletes where passing. Now we have teachers failing kids so they can't play sports, even though they know the kid just wants to go play football in college.

I know a lot of my friends kids who where absolute stud athletes who got thrown out of school for getting into fights or other little things. So when all the real dogs can't graduate HS because of how strict the schools are now, you get left with the soft kids that are pretty good athletes.

Huh? So dudes should be able to do as they please, beat the crap out of people, and get to play and “graduate” just because they’re elite athletes? So you’re for no accountability?

Sorry. That sounds retarded.

Hope Bubba can be good for us at safety. Nesta and Bubba could be impactful for us when they start playing.

Where did I say that? I am just saying this isn't the same as 15 years ago when players were getting special treatment in HS and the real savages where getting sent to play college ball. Now most of the real savages are getting expelled before they can even come close to playing in college.

Knowles reverted back to 2017-2018 self as he was terrible Vs cmu

I feel like a lot of our players think their **** doesn’t stink just because they are from south Florida and they have a scholarship at Miami. South Florida kids are not viewed as the tough guys anymore, even though they might think they are. Georgia is catching up to them as the number one recruiting destination. Some of the recent players out of the state of Georgia have been legit.

Fairy Tales.webp

that someone's "buddy" "overheard" on the sidelines or elsewhere.

These fantasies are much needed...... because they confirm narratives, they're inspirational and very very entertaining.

Keep em coming

And just like that, a thread about Hill supposedly yelling at the O Line for their poor performance turns into “Bench Patchan.”

If true, it’s very concerning that Jarren needed a cortisone shot. That’s really only a temporary fix, unless the injury is minor and can heal on its own. But it’s going to be hard for healing to take place during the season if it’s his throwing arm.

Regarding Hill, that’s awesome. We need that same energy from at least 3 guys on both sides of the ball to keep everyone in check. Unfortunately, it seems like there is a lack of leadership on this team.

This is where Shaq is lacking - In your face leadership
