Trequon Fegans '22 CB - Now in portal

They just put out a signal that they got a commit - the belief is it's some kid named Nelson who is also a CB. Beamer and Gray teaming up on the secondary targets. Their 247 guys pretty much said he wasn't expecting Fegans when the cb were posted. Seems both Fegans and Nelson were their two targets.

While Miami now has two talented corners committed in Graves and Khamauri Rogers, it sounds like the Hurricanes aren't done recruiting the position and should probably be viewed as the team to beat for Oxford (Ala.) Top247 cornerback Trequon Fegans according to those with knowledge of the situation. That's in turn why I logged a 247Sports' Crystal Ball forecast in favor of UM for Fegans with a medium confidence score on Sunday.

Fegans, who 247Sports ranks as the nation's No. 11 cornerback prospect, recently put Miami, Georgia, Alabama, Oklahoma and South Carolina in his top five. While he hasn't set a date to make a decision, he told InsideTheU's Gaby Urrutia a few days ago that a commitment could come by the end of August. If Fegans does indeed stick with that timeline, it will likely spell good news for the Hurricanes as Fegans is expected to take an unofficial visit to Miami the last weekend of July after taking an official visit to Miami the first weekend of June.

As a junior, Fegans was named to the MaxPreps All-Alabama first-team defense and was an Alabama Sports Writers Association 6A All-State first-team selection.
