The issue here was a lot of locals who said Miami should offer him the chance to play QB, even though everyone here knows he doesnt fit the traditional Miami pro style system AND Kaaya was onboard. The thought was that they could offer him that to get him to come and then switch it up once he got here. That would have been a disaster from a perception standpoint and Miami did well to let that drama play out elsewhere.
Florida was a better fit for a shot at QB and so it went. Its obvious that his Dad was happy with how Miami handled it since he joined the coaching staff.
His shot at UF came under pretty desperate circumstances and while he brought some life, he came up short again.
So why is he transferring? Is my view too simple? I could very well be missing something since I'm NOT local there.
HES COMING HOME
It is at no cost, at least when I was in school. But I believe now it's a sliding scale depending on how long the parent has been employed there.Children of UM staff pay less the traditional enrollees. Does anyone know the cost to them?
Yeah right. Florida will never ever allowed him to transfer to UM
Hopefully kid saw the light and is transferring looking to play in our secondary
If he transfers, i think he goes to UCF ,FIU, FAU..... I dnt think Florida will let him come to Miami, FSU, or any other SEC team.... they can limit his transfer options..... if he does come to Miami, he will be an ATH (WR/KR)...not a QB
They can't stop him from transferring to UM. His dad works for UM, so maybe he doesn't need the FB scholarship the first year.
No.Yeah right. Florida will never ever allowed him to transfer to UM
If he were to walk on at Miami, would Florida get any say in the matter?
The sit-out rule is based not on $$$ but on NCAA rules to discourage transfers. If UF wants to waive the rule it can. If not, the player can go to a lower divison and play right away or go to any same level school and not play one year. I suspect that UF would not insist on sitting out at the U because we are not in their conf and do not play PLUS his dad is connected in the state and could really bad mouth UF.......
TC got it right in post #23.
Look at the Hate here.......The same pansies that said he would not play quarterback at Florida. Well, he did and will continue to
What a bunch of LOSERS.......
I dont recall that at all Sonny...

Where do you think he ends up?
If he's going to waste his career he might as well do it here.
