Treon Harris

Who's to say he doesn't come here? From all accounts we are recruiting him and it's still only late June. A lot of time for things to happen
 
We have a lot of talent at the QB position right now. Harris would get lost in the mix and end up transferring to another school.
 
We are after him, but as a CB or athlete. Is the OP insinuating that we should be recruiting him at QB over the 3 we already have committed?
 
Me personally i would of taken him over Malik Rosier...

mere fact is i know he can kick out to another position...not sure if he is a better qb...just that i know i can playy him in the slot on offense (Pimp Collier) or @ cb..(Brandon Harris)...i know the kid is a leader and a winner...has cane pedigree.

I can't fathom the level of *****ing that would result from someone (like a white kid from NJ) being named starting QB over Treon if Ice thought Treon was better. It would be like Crudup Sr was given the HC job at one of the most important HSs we recruit. Sounds like one giant cluster**** waiting to happen. Be upfront with the kid and offer him as a WR/RB or it's just not worth the headache.

Treon will be at the U only if the schools that want him at QB aren't what he is looking for. I honestly see him end up at an NC State who is changing their offense and he would fit right in.

I don't see how Jimbo is going to give Harris a legitimate shot at the starting QB job with Winston being a RS freshman. NC State and Wake Forest would be better opportunities.
 
I have no problem with UM not offering him as a QB.


Great night for the kid tonight but Im content with our QB commits.
 
He reminds me of Marcus Vick. I think he could play QB. I just don't think he's ever going to be great at the position.
