The one line i love is when he says he doesnt care about depth charts, just have to love that mentality out of any player

-has his heart set on being a QB, and he committed to Florida State to play that spot
-father says as of now Treon still has UM on the backburner
-"Based on right now with him not being able to play quarterback there he won't be considering Miami at this point because that's the whole idea (for him to be a QB)," "We feel he's getting better at the position, has gone through a lot of different obstacles and defenses week in and week out, being on the road, hostile environments and done well. Even now he has schools that had doubts that keep watching him play; more teams are now trying to come in and get him to take a visit at the quarterback position now when they weren't recruiting him for that at first."
*two brothers attended UM (Brandon excelled as a DB) and his father was an administrator at the school
-"Until you get that information from Miami (whether he'll be recruited as a QB) you never know," "Other teams felt the same way that (the Canes) felt at one point and now are coming in and saying `We like him at quarterback now.'
-"Until that call comes from Miami you can't speak on that. But you never know what might happen."
-still feels good on commitment to fla. state
- Barrow is in regular contact, but still based on if he'll play slot receiver
-Comfortable with Jimbo commitment in terms of he'll give him a legit opportunity at QB
* Treon will play WR or DB at the Army All-American game, "But he's going to college to be a QB for his future,"

ITs a great ploy by Treon. He wants to have a QB number before moving to WR. FSU will give him a single digit jersey. lol

Complete hardball move by Ice, he agrees to play DB/WR in a High School All-Star game but won't for the U? Come on bro

Kid wants to play QB in college.

FSU is lying to him best at this point.

So they'll get him.

And he'll be a dope DB in a couple of years.

Can't blame Miami.

It's a power play move that's all it is ad right now nobody is falling for it. Easiest way to tell is that you kept reading about teams showing interest but yet Ice didn't say who.......... think about that

This is great cuz it will backfire if they dont play him at QB for future BTW prospects. At least we keepin it real

1. Its an all-star game
2. He has said multiple times he just wants a shot
3. He trained with his bro on his DB skills
4.Again he is open to other positions as long he gets a shot

I think FSU will give a shot.

FSU probably never mentioned anything but QB, while other schools explicitly said non-QB...

Good luck to Mr. Harris.

If that was true then most like Treon wouldn't be looking to leave unless it was for UM. Also, all the talk about playing qb wouldn't surprise him or Ice at this time. Just think if Treon is really getting this much qb attention from FSU and everybody else then why would they have to say it so often like they're trying to convince themselves? I just dont buy it

If Treon wants to know if he's a college QB, he should start by watching his own game film from the Bishop Gorman game. He should see his own performance and say, "Oh wow, I really am a slot receiver..."

I respect Treon's heart but after watching him against Bishop Gorman, who have exactly ZERO D1 prospects on their front 7, I cant see how he thinks he has a future at QB. I think he has a better shot then Winky Flowers, but why go to FSU? If he had committed to say, Kansas State or Baylor I could see. But FSU? I dont see it. I applaud Al for being honest. That will go a long way with future recruits. I just hope when Treon switches to slot receiver after his R-So year he doesnt turn into the beast I think he will. Smh.

Have to say that just makes you want to ram your head into a wall.

First off, I agree with those that say what Ice's saying sounds like B.S. "all these teams coming back to look at him". Right. Who? Who has offered him as a QB? We know FSU are the KINGS of telling you whatever you want to hear to get you to sign, then f*cking you over. But what other major programs are offering him at QB?

And what the F*CK is this "for his future" cr@p? WHAT future dude??? EVEN if by some MIRACLE, he can become a decent college QB, at his size??? What future does he have beyond that? Are these guys seriously that delusional that they think he can be an NFL QB one day? I mean MY GAWD man. WHY does this keep happening to us? Seemsl like EVERY year we lose a great athlete, **** bent on playing QB somewhere, who ends up being moved as everyone knew they would, or being a bust at QB, when they could have been a stud at WR or DB.

I think we end up offering him the "chance" to play QB here... and he joins the rest of the BTW kids in this class.

Nope. Backfire with dumb *** dad. We won't touch that with a 10 ft pole.

Golden is playing this the right way. No doubt we would love to have him at db or wr and if this was some random kid from out of state you could feed him the BS "we'll give you a shot at QB" line. You cant do this with Ice's son or it could destroy the BTW pipeline, which is pretty strong at the moment. FSU is playing with fire right now. If Ice thinks he was lied to, FSU aint seeing another BTW kid for the next 5 years.

He will never play a meaningful snap at QB for FSU unless he's late to a position meeting and the entire room collapses.
