Definitely wanted him, but then I saw the position he plays and just assumed no shot. Lol

Mack might get a couple nice commitments before the season starts but it’ll be awfully tough to hang on even if he lands Simpson or some more real quality prospects. They’re gonna be terrible this year and every school will be ready to vulture any good kid.

Add another L in the widening lopsided gap of L's to W's for Patke. This is the worst year for LB's I can remember. It's horrible timing considering the huge need. We can't afford to miss on getting guys like this to VISIT MIA. Seriously, how hard is it to sell a recruit and his family on a FREE visit to MIAMI? That's quite possibly the easiest sales job on the planet.

Mack isn't dead yet. Anyone assuming he's trash and UNC will stay that way for long is underestimating him. He had the best thing going in recruiting that there ever was for getting local guys to commit early and stick. His classes were always full with top prospects who weren't allowed to visit anywhere else. Can he do that at UNC? No. Can he put together a talented team? Yes. The bottom line is Mack's potential at UNC is higher than any of our competition on the coastal.

There's still time to get him on campus before signing day
