We had 3 seasons with no defensive line and safeties that were FCS quality. Now we've got some more talent, and it's showing. As the OP said, our D isn't spectacular, but to deny that they have shown quite a bit of improvement is based on nothing more than wanting to complain.

Basing it on better talent on the field, and better results through two games. You idiots were absolutely positive that there was not a chance in **** the fighting Petrinos would have less than 700 yards and 60 pts against us. They didn't. You were also positive that FAMU would be able to score on us and while not winning would give our defense problems. Well 114 yds and no offensive scores certainly isn't problems. Compared to last year where we gave up more yards to worst teams, yes, it's an improvement.

No slurper here but we have actually improved to #8 not #65. I know i know it been two horrible teams. But facts are what they are.
