Is there progression? Here's a look at offensive positions through the years:

The trends are promising, and I like what is being built.

Running backs in 2018 were statically better than in 2021. (1 5 star, 3 4 stars) compared to (4 4 stars). How is the ratio 50% for 2018 but 80% for 2021?

Ok mr big shot, explain if you're so smart
First, the post is about blue chip ratio. So it is percentage of 4+ star players. It doesn't matter if one of them is a 5 star, as long as they are 4 or higher they contribute to the percent of blue chippers. Second, if there are the same number of blue chip players in two different years, yet the blue chip percentage is different, this implies the total number of players is different for those two years. With 4 blue chip RBs in 2018 with a 50% blue chip ratio, that means there were 8 RBs on the roster. With 4 blue chip RBs in 2021 with an 80% blue chip ratio, that means there are 5 RBs on the roster.

All things considered the BC% is getting better, across the board. Looks like, just on paper, that the OL is the lowest at 44%. Hopefully Justice gets the job done across the 5 starters there, that we cement who they are as quickly as is possible, and that they then have time to gel into one, cohesive unit.

To be fair, OL is prob the one place a blue chip ratio doesn't matter as much, as ita so hard to evaluate the position. See Wisconsin and others.

We've been pulling 4 stars left and right that are dog****
