2027 Tre Moore 4* WR from Pflugerville, TX (Weiss HS) Commits to Washington

I mean we have been going after a lot of WRs the last couple weeks…The Cali kids, looking at the GA and Ill kids, etc

Especially when you combine that with the fact that they will probably be happy with a 2 man class (off of 4 last year +Vaughn)…I'm sure they'd take 3 if the right two more fall in their lap, but I think two is more realistic off of last year. DMoney has said repeatedly they love the current WR room for the future.

So it's not like the coaches weren't giving signs that they know they are in a dogfight here.
100% agree- no single player “lost” during the recruiting process will define this class or the future.

The lack of perspective is staggering!

There are so many factors and variables, we are rock solid at WR— and deep. And when we aren’t, or see a need/potential talent that could thrive, we go get them via the portal.

This is an “to do about nothing” and myopic at best.

hard for me to believe we would not have taken both him and Woodard but this must mean Woodard gave our staff a verbal over the weekend.

You think he only pulled the trigger because Miami said they no longer wanted him? Come on.

Sometimes, kids take other opportunities. It happens.

We would have taken him and Woodard, but him committing to Warshington doesn't mean Woodard committed.

Not true. Pete confirmed he was bag hunting/UW promised him he’ll be the focal point. We wanted him. We probably turn to Hale now.

Well if Pete confirmed it LOL

You're also not saying anything different than I did. But whatever, who cares? If he wants to go to Washington, enjoy yourself. Woodard was a must before, now he's a MUST.

I get kids take other opportunities, not blind to that at all, to me it just seemed the timing is strange. Woodard visits, Moore is/was set to visit us, and then commits to UW.

Again, I knew UW was in contention and a real player for him (clearly), for me and my comment it was more so about the timing of it all.

Fisch has done a good job getting the big money up there on board with NIL. The Huskies lucked out when Michigan and Florida went other directions with their coaching hires.

The former president and AD at U-Dub were focused on posturing and doing things "the right way" while meanwhile Phil Knight and Oregon buried them in recruiting. But once Michael Penix and that talent Petersen brought in was gone, they were destined for a hard fall.

Going to the B1G and getting their asses beat for a couple years was really the best thing for the program.

They could've stayed with their old methods and gone 8-4 or 9-3 every year because the Pac-12 was so weak and most schools were unwilling or unable to spend big on the revenue sports. Thay won't cut it at the P2 level. UW has figured that out finally
