Trayone?

Early on he had fumble problems and that is likely one more reason he won't see the field this year.

injuries happen, especially at the RB spot. im glad he's stuck around, and if a couple guys go down, the fans that have mocked him will be, too.

I was one that was hoping that we had gotten lucky and sneaked a physical freak in that was going to ball out...but...he isn't balling and its getting time for him to show something or might be time to move on.

Trayone has speed and size, he should be used as an H back and catching out of the back field ... just my 2 cents

He has had every opportunity to take advantage of playing time and hasn't. Homer will pass him up on the Depth chart. Tells you a lot.

This is one kid who i would hate to see go. I would personally advise him to redshirt, transfer to a lower level FCS school with need at RB, and try to ball out for two years. He needs to learn the position in game speed and action. First and foremost he needs to learn to secure the ball. Very few RBs keep getting any kind of PT after they put the ball on the ground a couple of times.

Has a great skill set, hard worker and has some leadership traits in him. He's just going to get passed over. If he doesn't want to leave he should be on every single special team trying to show out on them like Nate Ebner (USA Olympics)

I won't completely write the kid off, but he's now failed to wow two different staffs. He may have only been a 3* but he got a lot of hype coming in. Lots of talk on here about how he was exactly the type of player we needed. He's shown a flash or two, but if he can't earn playing time...

The hype for Gray was just the delusions of a fanbase coping with the realities of how far they had fallen in the landscape of CFB. Like you said he had some nice attributes but nothing special. I never saw the elite athlete on tape that so many tried convincing themselves they saw. Kid was looked at as JAG by everybody else because at the end of the day he is just that.

This. I remember reading from the insiders about how this guy was a freak athlete. I went to youtube and watched his underwhelming, pedestrian highlights and was left scratching my head. He is what he is, a decent football player. It's funny, his hype continues even in this thread with a number of posts touting his speed. He's not that fast.

I was one that was high on him because his physical tools, but as others have said, it seems like he can't put everything together.

Besides the way he carries the ball like a loaf of bread, another issue I seen with him is he runs way too high. Probably the easiest one to tackle.

LOL at the turds with detailed fake info on his game as a college RB when they've seen him carry the ball 5 times. Just say you don't know and you assume he isn't as good as the guys in front of him.

The same dopes who assumed Damien Berry was trash because he was languishing deep on the depth chart. When he got his shot he blew up.

Move him to LB, move him to WR, move him to CB...are y'all drunk already!? Haha Seriously, if he can't grasp how to be a running back how the **** is he going to be successful at any other position.
