This kid has been the surprise of the season and he was huge against ND. Homer finished with 146 yards, averaging 8.1 yards-per-carry

He has a special kind of burst and can score anywhere on the field

One great thing about Homer is how he finishes longs runs. He never steps out of bounds or avoids contact. He purposely tries to murder the defender, both intimidating them and gaining an extra 3-6 yards other runner don't get. The run at the end of the 3rd quarter is the perfect example of that. Love the kid, he's so good and is only going to get better.

Out of this world performances this season for a kid who did not carry the ball much last year.

I would love to see him break that 1000 yard mark. He should be able to do it in the regular season.

Never seen a Miami RB who loves contact as much as Homer. Fun to watch him finish runs.

It would have been real interesting to see how he would have been utilized if Walton didn't go down.
