We have what, 3 scholarship qbs? and one is coming off a severe injury.

So we turn away a fringe 5* qb (the most important position and the position of greatest need now that jake is gone) because he hurt your feelings a few months ago ?

He’d be a take in my books. Worst case he flames out. Best case he’s a star QB that helps bring us back.

Better to have more competition in the QB room

I would prefer going for g5 or below studs who are looking for a bigger stage
Most of the top school guys are dudes who got passed up or are just high ranked jags
 
CIS fans are weird.
Getting their feelings hurt by indecisive teenagers. The difference between 18 yr olds and 20-21 yr olds is enormous. At 18 you're still just a kid, and many of them are influenced by unsavory people positioning themselves to leach if the player makes it ti the next level. But some of these YoYos will hold a grudge against a child for the rest of their lives. Sad

You guys can't rub yourselves raw over Ruiz and NIL and then get too in your feelings when kids act like pro free agents. This is how it is now.

The transfer portal is a godsend for Kelly and saved him his job. He absolutely hates recruiting high level HS prospects because of all the time/money/*** kissing required.
