He didn't "look worse", he simply didn't have the same stats at Miami (with a better overall WR corps) than he had at Buffalo (with a lesser WR corps).

If he "looked worse", the NFL wouldn't have drafted him.

Keep writing your Fantasy League nerd fan-fiction, though.
Holy **** this is comical!!!

Anybody with eyes that watched or saw his highlights at Buffalo and compared it to how he looked at Miami can tell that he looked much worse at Miami. Nowhere near how a #1 WR should look. The NFL drafted him in the 5th round 176th pick bc of it. He would’ve been selected in the same position if he entered the draft after his junior season.

How many times have you moved the goalposts now? Nobody said he was a #1 WR, and if you thought that he established that with one good year at Buffalo, then "destroyed" it with a good year at Miami, then you are the guy without eyes.

Ah, yes, the "anybody with eyes" argument". The same "anybody with eyes" that actually drafted Osborn. Yep, you're going with the unspecific "anybody with eyes" citation. Very authoritative.

You have absolutely no proof that he "would've been selected in the same position if he entered the draft after his junior season". That's just something you made up. You have no January 2019 mock draft that put Osborn in the 5th round. Osborn made the decision to transfer to Miami in January of 2019, so let's not pretend that he seriously considered entering the 2019 draft. And "anybody with eyes" could read Osborn's own words, which indicated that HE HIMSELF felt that he needed to step up his competition level during the 2019 season:

Osborn said he lacked the confidence to play at a school like Miami until he spoke to E.G. Green, the former FSU standout who was Osborn's position coach at IMG Academy in Bradenton. Osborn played one year at IMG, transferring from his hometown high school. Osborn calls Green his role model.

“He said ‘You don’t want to make a lateral move. You want to go up, like a Florida State, Miami or USC,’ " Osborn said. “He was saying those names and I was like ‘Oh. OK.’

“I was talking about TCU or Syracuse or Rutgers, West Virginia, great universities, but they’re not like Florida State or Miami. When the Miami thing started to take off, I was gaining confidence and talking to some other guys, like ‘I can play there.’ ”

So, let's review, shall we. KJ Osborn was going to transfer to TCU or Syracuse or Rutgers or West Virginia for his grad-transfer year, in order to improve his level of competition. Doesn't sound like a guy who was certain of a 5th round draft pick.

Look, you are entitled to your opinions, but is it really too much to ask you to stop making up falsehoods. It is beyond obvious for "anybody with eyes" that KJ Osborn believed and knew that he needed to face better competition than what he faced at Buffalo.

You can continue to hate Miami, but this is a kid who was going to TCU or Syracuse or Rutgers or West Virginia, not getting drafted in the 5th round after one good year at Buffalo.

The simple fact that there has been 1 wr drafted int he history of Buffalo football is all enough to stop this argument.

Back to the thread we should be looking for a group of 5 or power 5 grad wr ....that is KJ Osborn level to finish out the wr group

There is nothing that can or will stop an argument when one is arguing with an insane troll though

KJ Osborns sophomore year at Buffalo was better than his last year at Miami. The player below was drafted in the 5th round this year higher than Kj Osborns overall selection and spent his entire career at Samford and he’s 5’9”. Miami cost him draft position should’ve stayed at Buffalo.

You know absolutely nothing about Montrell Washington and if you did you would know that the only reason he was a 5th rounder was because he was 5’9.

Can I just ask you a question?

WHY DO YOU LIE? Why do you lie about stats, when "anyone with eyes" has Google and can humiliate you?

Compare Osborn's third year at Buffalo to his fifth year at Miami (and I've already acknowledged that he had a very good fourth year at Buffalo).

More receptions - Miami. More yardage - Miami. More touchdown catches - Miami.

WHY DO YOU LIE, on easily provable facts?

Again, KJ Osborn transferred to Miami a few days after Buffalo's season ended. That is not the behavior of a guy who is confident that he is going in the 4th round or higher (which would be necessary, since you falsely claim that "Miami cost him draft position" and he was drafted in the fifth round out of UM).

Is he a slot or an outside guy
He wants to know how the staff would use him. Outside? Jet sweeps? Punt returns? Was injured last year and played sparingly in 6 games. In 2020 he had 55 catches, 979 yards, 17.8 yards per catch ... and is a legit 4.45 forty guy that DBs' will have to respect and cover. Would take pressure off of younger receivers, provide great balance and quality depth in the rotation. UM has nobody on the roster with that kind of productivity history.

He’s got a similar skill set to Jeff Thomas. Maybe less shifty? But definitely no slouch

You get decimated, then you dig the hole twice as deep.

"Majority of the competition he went up against at Miami wasn't quality NFL talent"? And it was at Buffalo? Regardless of you moving the goalposts 24-7, he played against BETTER competition at Miami than he did at Buffalo.

"Doing well for himself in the NFL...that's because of his own work ethic..." Again, you keep shifting the discussion. Sure, that explains why he is STILL in the NFL, but it doesn't explain his draft position.

Just stop. You are wrong.
As a Vikings fan he's pleasantly surprised me with how good he's been getting. He wasn't a great returner his first yr, but I'm sure that helped his draft status. On a second note I was really hoping Stacey Coley panned out for us.

If you don’t think Enos cost KJ Osborn money in the nfl draft you were sleep that entire season… The offense was trash. He was already an NFL draft prospect based off what he did at Buffalo… he didn’t need Miami to get drafted in the 5th round 176th pick.

Enos was trash and if Osborn went somewhere else he could been put in a better position to succeed.

However staying at Buffalo wasn’t it. They lost their QB Tyree Jackson after the 18 season when he left early to the NFL (went undrafted). Jackson was a kid Diaz and Enos tried to get to transfer to Miami.

The 2 QBs that replaced Jackson threw less than 1800 yards combined. In fact their starting RB, Jaret Patterson rushed for more yards (1799) than all their QBs threw combined (1795).

So no, Osborn wouldn’t have been better off staying at Buffalo.
