U only named 5 players at Safety. Thats not enough to make me think Pruitt is gonna move back to LB.I think he goes back to LB
Safety has a lot of bodies with Poyser, Fitz, Thorton, Day, Dunnigan, and maybe the portal kid
Why ? Never seen him play so just asking not doubting the pick up .Good get

I believe grad students are not restricted by the portal. This could be an option after spring.
The issue he’s not big enough

Beason definitely wasnt 200 as a freshman. And was doing the James Williams in hs to play safety and rb. lolFigure out how Jon Beason made the transition and do that. Beason was around 200 lbs. as a freshman (listed at 206 from his Freshman season, but I think that was fully-clothed and soaking wet). Maybe Pruitt can commit to S&C over these next 7-8 months and get to where he needs to be?

Beason friend here since 1996-1997.
I personally would leave Pruitt at that S/Nickel spot...His frame looks like he wont be able to just pack on a bunch. Just get him on the field in diff ways as a covg backer.
Maybe in that Jakobe Thomas role? Hes definitely a thumper but he’s shown some decent range. Definitely not a rover as I think Fitz has that locked down the next two yearsBeason definitely wasnt 200 as a freshman. And was doing the James Williams in hs to play safety and rb. lol

I could see us adding grad transfers post spring at oline or elsewhere…and staying flexible/open-minded in case chaos ensues to open up a 2nd post spring portal session.
