Rumors of Merrit rb coach leaving, who was previously at USF, Pringle in the portal —seems like we should be worried or at least nervous Wiley, armwood teammate of Pringle, is about to enter the portal too? Or is he secure?

You’re right of course but even the best recruiters and biggest NIL schools are having a tough time

I hear ya. I was worried the entire season about the same thing at DT and we turned out to have one of the best DT rotations in the country.

Just concerned that a couple injuries could sink us. Look how having to run with O’Connor impacted us when Brown (all game), Lucas (first half) and OJ (second half) were unavailable. And we had crazy CB depth.

All I’m saying is we’d rather have more experienced depth in an ideal world.

Because a lot of these evaluators for these sites, not all, are nerds with no concept of what it takes and didn’t play high level athletics.

Top that off with zero ability to evaluate in day to day practice and it’s all a ridiculous hype game. I place zero faith in any of what I read or see because of it.

The staff doesn’t always get it right. But more times than not they do and I trust what they see day to day. As my brutally cold and direct East German father would say to me, figuratively speaking of course, “everyone has f*** or walk moments in life, better get to f******” if you want to make it”.

Guess a lot of these guys want to walk. Best of luck until we play you and not sorry you had little to no appreciation for the opportunity to represent what we have here.

Merrit was out recruiting today; visited a rb in Mississippi. At least for now; nothing imminent or rumors are bs

Pringle is likely to go to Bama but a return to Miami hasn’t been ruled out either

Seaton went in-home w/ LSU and Oregon. Was thought he was LSU’s to lose but the situation is more cloudy now. ‘Canes are still a contender; he’s expected to decide within the next 24-48 hours
