No he wouldn't . Willis is not a s Florida kid. Grimes is. Big difference in shunning your hometown then just being another out of state offer for a 5 star.

Everyone saying Grimes sucks is wrong. He is a great WR. We just don't need him, we have plenty.

This is the same ******* who was singing Golden's praises while he's corching up LB's in Detroit, Coley for being solely a recruiter, and D'Onofrio right before he gave a thousand yards to Texas Tech. He topped that off by trying to talk up New Jersey talent using only Njkou as an example while St. Thomas has more guys in the NFL that the entire state. He's still so sour that Miami dragged his Jersey heroes out by their ears while his state's talent failed that now he's idiotically trying to hype up a mediocre WR from a hated rival. What a putz.

They wanted juedy and rightfully so......grimes is a 7 on 7 warrior who got by on go routes in HS. U cant do that **** at this level. At least the staff knew then and didnt waste there time. Usually guys maxed out in HS are huge bust potential. I never liked this kid then i thought he would flame out.

He reads like a pretty stereotypical story...great high school talent...but overestimated his talent. Went to a place where he was a dime a dozen, then when he gets told to get lost, still tries his hand at a "top" (I know, lol) school and he's only...ok. He's not a bum, but clearly overrated by most measures from his HS hype. Probably should have gone to a lesser, but pass happy school.

I don't know if he ever would have played significantly here. We've tossed better players.

**** no...we got 5 WR’s right now with a higher YPC than him.

And he never produced back at STA either.
