Mentally soft players
Horrendous fanbase
Mediocre former players like this clown calling for coordinator firings 5 games into their tenures

Mario has his work cut out for him because there are a ton of fundamental issues here beyond Gattis being unable to punch the ball into the endzone from the 2 yard line.

Calling for a coach to be fired after five games is idiotic. As much as I’ve been down on the OC I’ve never said fire him. Ive been saying for years this fanbase, local coaches and the alums make this as toxic of a situation as you’ll find at any level of sports. You must find a happy medium to kiss the right asses or they’ll turn on you. That’s been my reason why this job is so hard, especially in the social media , microwave era.

We only lost 75% of our armed forces in the battle on one day, other than that, we held the enemy off and almost retook the territory. Better luck next time.

Jesus…

When your 2-3 on a 3 game losing streak including to a team that’s been blown out the last 2 weeks (MTSU) ..nothing is off the table. That’s part of the problem. We are so use to just being bad that we see silver linings in everything now.

I'm sure Steele was the one who told Kam to jump a short route when he was in deep cover 2.

And told the players to miss tackles over and over again.

He had one terrible call all game when he dropped Harvey into coverage on a big 3rd down. But other than that most of the mistakes on D were on the players.

Watching Tennessee beat LSU yesterday, reminded me of 2 years ago when many CIS comrades thought we were "at least ahead of Tennessee. "
Makes me believe that a lot can be done in a couple of years with the right staff (and them bringing in the right players).
I'm definitely not ready to call for a coordinators head at this time, but Tennessee seems to have turned the corner. Hopefully Mario, Zo, and Rad will absolutely make the right moves for the future of this program. Do I believe it CAN happen? Yeah. Do I believe it WILL happen? 🤔 🤷🏾‍♂️

I was always the guy who said coaches can coach em up and get them to the right spots. I'm starting to take a slightly diff approach with our defense. I love all the players and I have no doubt all of them are giving 100%. That's all I ask, however it is fairly clear where some deficiencies are and that is fine. We will live with those as long as they are giving 100%.

5 games into tenure calling for coaches heads is idiotic I agree. But when a former stud mike linebacker is questioning stuff your eyes and ears need to perk up a bit. This isn’t some accountant on cis calling for this. This is the captain of a miami hurricanes and tennesse titans defense calling this out. The dude knows the game like very few in this world. If he that’s concerned so should we

We have to understand we re a second tier football team period.

2-3 more years to get a competitive team to bang with the big boys period.

Our miscues were cause by no focus because they never had to and don’t understand the word.

By week was. NEVER going to fix anything just the one that looked at the man in the mirror themselves.

TVD recognized his faults and took ownership of them and EXPLODED back on the scene never list a step.

Parrish played his heart out also along with Mallory .

The list falls of drastically after these guys.

I feel we’re on a serious losing streak now.

GOCANES

I remember what Jim ( Mad Dog) Mandich told me.

“ we won because we didn’t want to face Shula’s wrath “
