The tortilla thing is a long standing tradition at Tech. That can't be warmly received.

@JamesQuall , are we letting these kind of comments go unaddressed now?

Is this who we are?

I have several people equipped with t-shirt cannons loaded with Temu ****** for tonight's game against Louie Louie.

First missed holding penalty against Bain/Mesidor (likely Cardinal's first snap), we unleash the barrage.

These are 15"'rs btw, we are not ******** around.

@Empirical Cane You’re a mensch
Confused…only saw the first post. What did I do wrong? Just taking it literally - I thought that the tortilla throwing tradition was a long standing tradition at Tech. I remember hearing about it for a couple of decades out here in Austin.

What’s the tradition behind it?

I was at that game in Morganhole. Crazy night. A Miami player got hurt & the WVU fans tried to tip over the ambulance he was in. Fans threw a glass Coke bottle into the Miami fan section. After the game, fans tried to tip over the Miami fan/cheerleader bus. Luckily no one got hurt
Didn’t some fool throw a garbage can that hit a coach?

They’re just giving you a fun poke for interpreting “warmly received” and Tortilla as a pun. ;)

Do you think these kind of subtle dad jokes, that quite frankly ruin CIS, will go unnoticed!!?

I was going to eat Mexican today...ruined!

Didn’t the Kansas coach claim a pocket knife was thrown at their bench last Saturday and that’s what started this whole brouhaha? Tortilla Kirby now giving interviews showcasing the great security at their stadium. :stupid:
That was bull**** claim
Coach was fined after they saw on video the pocket knife fell out of pocket of a coach

Throwing tortillas is fine
It does not do any harm and they are picked up in 1 min

I will be throwing one on Nov 8 when I go visit my son and go to TT v BYU👍😁
