He wasn't getting this kid.. He's the prototypical spread option QB... Meyer and Malzahn are the kings of spread option QB..

Still a miss. Tired of Golden striking out whenever he has to go against a good recruiter.

Nope but Rudolph, Dixon, Cook, Thomas, Sony, Powell, Jackson, Clark, and Bostwick is. And god knows how many they lose out on this year. It sure isn't looking good right now (a lot can change so I'll give you that).

I give you you that we lose some but I can name you many players that coaches lose out on every year and you know this. Some just dont want to come and some we just lose out on but then when you know there are multiple studs that everybody wants who we get every year then you its talking out of both sides of your mouth. Not ripping you because you make good points but forgetting on the studs we do get doesnt make sense

Would you prefer a big circle-jerk where we all laud the staff for trying hard, but ignore results?

In order to make the step from being a good team to being a great team, Miami needs to improve its hit rate on top-end talent.

Coley isn't married to any system, so throw that argument away. Anytime a local kid that is a blue chip player leaves town, it hurts. Especially when you've been on him so for long.

At the end of the day we dk but just acting like we all do by just blaming the coaches every time gets annoying. I can bet SOME we lost out on straight up, how many? Idk because I dont know any of the kids at all. Maybe Pete, Tito, Cam, Nash and HG can give better opinions because they actually know the kids a little but nobody else actually knows

Anyone who has seen any practice video this spring should know not use the "he doesn't fit the system" thing. I've seen Olsen and Williams run more read option than I thought Miami would ever run. We've got jet sweeps going off that action too. I'm not sure if we'll run all that in games considering our current QBs but any recruits out at practice see plenty of spread looks.

Or you could just listen to our offensive coordinator who said as much to Gibson himself. But why go directly to the sources when its so much more fun to read what random people say here?

That's true but some of the kids we can't blame the coaches seeing as AG was building bridges with coaches down here and we don't know if the NCAA cloud affected us with any of the kids (before the class of 2014) either. Certain things we might have been at disadvantage too but Winning should cure everything.
