What are Gino's qualifications to run an athletic department? I'm having a hard time understanding why anyone would be excited about this.

he walks around the stadium be it football or basketball with a relaxed pace. i have seen it.
Only excitement I need from the new AD is firing Manny, Larranaga and DiMare.

Yeah, he used to be in AM radio, same station as LeBatard. Stugotz was the one that hired Larry Milian (Larry The Amigo). I didn’t know he was on Sirius because I don’t have a subscription to Sirius radio.

I’m feeling uneasy with all the “Miami” guys, and “friends hiring friends” thing Miami has going on.
So if it is indeed Gino/Zo, and Mario, if In year 3 of Mario things still look the same.. do we really expect these buddies to step up and do what’s needed? I know it would be really difficult for me in that situation.
I really wish we would hire proven, non Miami guys..

Coach L oh L might be more of a disaster than Manny at this point. There's just no one up in arms about it because we have no basketball fans. Sadly, a lot of our football fans root for another team in basketball.

One thing that I will say about Gino is that he has extremely high expectations for the program. On Sirius radio, he’s more negative on the program and the ACC than his Co-hosts. This will be a complete 180 from Blake James.

OT but how does someone with no experience come in from the NFL and start working as a Senior Financial Advisor and not just a regular advisor? lol
