What a difference a year makes.
Gil
2018: .234/.317/.367, 3 HR, 19 RBI, 32.4 SO%
2019: .356/.430/.623, 9 HR, 30 RBI, 28.2 SO%
Toral
2018: .161/.322/.237, 1 HR, 10 RBI, 33.9 SO%
2019: .252/.381/.629, 17 HR, 43 RBI, 27.1 SO%. Toral's 17 HR are now tied with Hunter Bishop of ASU for 2nd nationally.
Both guys still strike out a little too much (ideally they drop that SO% to the low 20s next year), and you'd like to see them draw more walks. Still really a great turnaround season from two guys who were largely written off after tough freshmen seasons
