Bain is a Reggie White clone and is already better than all those guys as a sophomore.
A Reggie White clone? Interesting. He does have that freak strength and the time Bain just knocked that huge Clemson Tackle out of his way with a club move then sacked Klubnik it reminded me of the Reggie White " Here Comes Jesus" highlight clip against the Packers. Reggie was still with the Eagles and he clubbed the RT then proceeded to swat away the fullback then crushed QB Brett Favre. It was one of the most savage plays I've ever seen.

Their size, raw strength/power, and the way they close on the QB as big men are eerily similar. Reggie played DT at Tennessee, but if this were the early 80s, with his size (pause), Bain probably would have been thrown inside too.

Reggie was much taller and had an elite first step accompanied by many counters. Bain has to develop more than 2 pass rush moves before his name is mentioned like that. Right now Bain is all power.

Why? He had less sacks than a true freshman (Bain) and he also had two studs at DT helping him with one on ones vs being double teamed
Talent...he was loose almost every snap. Very disruptive de. Sacks aren't the only metric a de is measured by. He is also fuild in space and can drop and cover some at that size.

I mean, I don't think 6'5 (77 inches) is that much taller than 6'3 (75)...and Bain isn't even 20 yet. Reggie was mostly power at Tennessee as well. But to expect any player to reach the heights RW did and develop the same moves and explosiveness is crazy. My observation pertains to how much they remind me of each other at similar points in their careers.

I do look forward to watching Bain keep getting better and developing more moves (good thing we have Jason Taylor on staff). He can be scary good, whether he reminds you of Reggie or not.
