Miami is taking big swings in the 2027 recruiting trail in Jai Lucas's second year as head coach. The Hurricanes are among the top recruits in the country. One of those targets is set to announce this weekend.
Tyrone Jamison tells 247Sports that he will announce his college decision this Saturday on the 247Sports Youtube Channel. His finalist includes Miami, LSU, Iowa, Baylor, Oklahoma, and USC.
Jamison hails from Shreveport, Louisiana, where he plays high school basketball at Calvary Baptist Academy. According to the 247Sports Composite Recruiting Rankings, he is currently viewed as a four-star product. He ranks as the No. 35 overall prospect, No. 9 point guard, and No. 2 player out of Louisiana. He measures in at 6-foot-1, 165-pounds.
During his junior season with Calvary Baptist Academy, he averaged 20.5 points per game, 3.9 rebounds, 5.9 assists, and 1.3 steals per outing. He represents JL3 Elite in the AAU Circuit.
Sources tell CanesInSight that the Baylor Bears are the team to watch in his recruitment.
