Top 5 coaches who would come to Miami

Mike smith hasnt coached within the college ranks since the 90's. doubt he'd want to get back in college ball.

That job has ate him up and **** him out. He's pushed every single wrong button. Talk about crumbling on the big stage. Holy **** he's been a cataclysmic abortion. I don't think anyone could have predicted how horrible he'd be.
 
Chuck Pagano may be available. He has coached here and would be a **** of a get if available.
 
Do not want Pruitt. UGA's DBs have not looked great. Maybe he was the benefactor of having Bama and FSU talent to work with and he's not as great as we think.

If we want to go by db's, there's a pro-bowl position coach out there... Reed, Taylor, Buchannon, Rolle, Sikes, Jennings, Rumph, etc etc

I like option #2 , but I honestly believe that Chud would make his OC (Ken Dorsey) the coach in waiting. I also believe that if either Chud, Pagano, or Butch were named coach then Greg Schiano will be the DC. I think Greg is going to have to take the "Lane Kiffin route" to get back into coaching, which is swallowing your pride for a few years and prove himself again as a coordinator. It really makes sense. He has the experience, already lives in Tampa, can recruit with the best of them, and brings a ton of toughness that the defense is going to need.
