People here sleep on Trent because he's not an athletic freak, and because they perceive him as emblematic of Golden's "bench the stud for the cheeseburger" approach to the game of football.
But Trent was a talented high school player who plays strong, smart, and consistent. That skill set is valuable and allows him to make plays. He doesn't deserve the Golden cheeseburger association, and if he keeps making plays like he did today, which I think he will, he'll shake the tool box condescension from this board's tools.
