With the sack forced fumble. I know people like to call him tool box Trent but he is actually a very solid player

Believe that's more of a slight at our former coach than Trent. He has been a solid player now for a bit.
 
He played very well today. He is a very smart football player might not have all the speed and power in the world but he sure plays smart.

People here sleep on Trent because he's not an athletic freak, and because they perceive him as emblematic of Golden's "bench the stud for the cheeseburger" approach to the game of football.

But Trent was a talented high school player who plays strong, smart, and consistent. That skill set is valuable and allows him to make plays. He doesn't deserve the Golden cheeseburger association, and if he keeps making plays like he did today, which I think he will, he'll shake the tool box condescension from this board's tools.
 
He was a 4-star DE coming out of HS....

He wasn't exactly an unknown....
