All season the Gameplan on offence was too vanilla. It was the same problem last year. I understand Rosier was limited but I just wanted to point something out.
In the post game presser. against Notre Dame, Richt says that the wildcat called for a pass on the 4th play from the formation. I wondered why he told the media that, and thought it was odd but assumed he would switch up the sequence next time we used the formation.
Against Clemson, 3 straight runs from the wildcat.. And the 4th play is a throw that was easily defended. Almost like the defence knew exactly what to expect from Richt.
It felt like that all year. Play calling was too obvious. This "we aren't good enough to just line it up and whoop somebody." line was correct. Yet we called plays like we were good enough to do it.
Still proud of the way our team battled all season. The Seniors deserve credit for battling through the hard times and helping us achieve an Orange bowl bid. Looking forward to the game and next season.
