Not a good choice for Miami. He is only a first year head coach that took over a pretty talented Houston team. I would need to see a few more years of his team building and player evals.

I would go with Justin Funte from Memphis over Herman. Or Mike Leech

He's coaches 10 games as a head coach and you want him as the head coach. This is a high risk move. If he does it for 3 years than yea, but he has not even gone through a full recruiting cycle.

Yet people are advocating for a guy who 1.) hasn't coached at Miami for 15 years, 2.) hasn't coached PERIOD in four and 3.) is two years away from collecting social security. Isn't that a risk in and of itself?

But Realistically... He'll get the Ohio St job when Urban goes... in 5 or 6 years...

I'd agree that Rhoades has the inside track, he knows what Herman is about, and probably has a real good idea what it would take to get him to Mizzou.

Aside from CIS, you never seem to hear UM and Herman mentioned in the same paragraph.
