Herman is made for Mizzou.

the AD that hired him at Houston, Matt Rhoades, is now AD at Mizzou and announced today that they are interested in Herman.

savvy ?
 
I dunno. Mizzou has won their division more recently than we have and their fans are way more patient.
 
Not a good choice for Miami. He is only a first year head coach that took over a pretty talented Houston team. I would need to see a few more years of his team building and player evals.

I would go with Justin Funte from Memphis over Herman. Or Mike Leech
 
He's made for Texas! Especially when Strong is either let go, or resigns. His buyout is simple, he pays his assistants off. Herman ends up at UT, and we're F'ed with Strong! Same committee got Strong to Texas, same committee gets him here! I'd hope this committee can get to Patterson, Gundy, if not, then let's try Fuente, Herman, Strong, Butch, Holgerson.
 
Tom Herman is likely built for any school, but, he is best suited for a job that recruits Texas, since that is his base.

Lets see... I feel he would dominate south Florida and win at least 1 national title before he leaves to the NFL, but if he doesn't leave, then I see him winning multiple National Titles... He's the truth! Butch or Herman for me, we can't go wrong with both of these hires!!! Butch needs to bring in an OC who will light it up, because I have faith his defense will be Miami Dominant!!!
 
He's coaches 10 games as a head coach and you want him as the head coach. This is a high risk move. If he does it for 3 years than yea, but he has not even gone through a full recruiting cycle.

This probably a good move for him. It's an SEC school in the west which is always up for grabs. He can still recruit Texas regularly and there's a connection with the AD. Would be a good fit.

We hired Goldy, who had extensive HC ing experience, how did that workout... IF BUTCH ISNT HIRED, IF... Herman already won a National Title with urban, has extensive big game experience, and as you can see Saturday night, down 20 in the 4 th quarter, WITH a 3rd string QB,
To comeback and win... REALLY?? You don't think he's a winner? What is high risk to you? It's been 10 years that we've been relevant, and had 3 garbage hires, he doesn't know south Florida recruits, I guarantee the recruits know about him! The Great Jimmy, came from OK state
Did HE know south Florida? Herman has been a winner, if not Butch, who is my #1 , call Herman, Whereever he goes, he will be successful.

No dude, he gets kids, he can go hood and he can go heart. He wants to dominate, he wants a family atmosphere. He's hungry he's super smart. I see a mix of jimmy and butch in him. Little snip it's like this are just the context clues of his character. Golden couldn't relate to s. F. I think Herman can and He wins he's of the moment he's not yesterday's news.
