Tom Herman Cleaning House

I said multiple times that Texas had awful schemes this year. But Herman still has an excellent track record in big games and is aware of the problems. He also has an elite OL coach in Herb Hand.

Miami has Butch Barry and a deer in headlights HC. That's the difference.

The thing that ****es me off is that Lemonis is half the age of Mccombs and is almost as rich as him...but is acting like a straight up clown talking about E before W ****....
Mccombs is worth 1.5 billion and Lemonis is almost a billion....
Thing is I know a little about Lemonis because we went to same schools when we were younger and had a few mutual friends. He was never exactly into sports...lets leave it at that.
 
Herman's on his way out & this is his last ditch effort to save his job, another losing season & they'll fire him.

Texas has an unlimited War Chest, they have the 2nd highest recruiting budget in the nation & they have no problem spending money on Coaches.

Their boosters care about Football & have a commitment to winning, so they hold their coaches accountable when they don't meet expectations. Our BOT doesn't give two shíts about Football & see nothing wrong with the decade plus of mediocrity.

If you're expecting Miami to ever do anything you're wasting your time, our administration doesn't care & they're not interested in doing anything to improve the situation because they don't think it needs to be, they think everything's perfectly fine the way it is.

That's why we're fcked because the only people with the power to change it have no plans whatsoever to do anything to help us. Miami is nothing more than a tax write off for these Rich ********, we're finished as long as the current leadership from the AD, to the school president, to the BOT are in charge.

Nobody's getting fired, everything will stay status quo & we'll go 5-7 next year & it will be the exact same excuses all over again.

Sad state of affairs LCE. When Schnelly came on board, he caught the CFB world by surprise and it took a while for the others to catch up. Success begat success after that first NC.

The downfall of the last 15 years or so has been steep. We can't, and won't, catch anybody by surprise again. It'll take a monumental effort from the top down to return the program to where it once was.

That risk is minimized on defense than on offense.

Manny fires Baker but can't draw a good defensive coordinator replacement. Okay, well Diaz can go full time with the defense and let Enos run offense. Not the best scenario but it's much easier to do that than fire Enos and Diaz run offense.
