Why would they be less impressed? the new guy has coached 3 1st round picks including #1 overall Mario Williams and has much more experience coaching at this level than Simpson

Seriously, if he's so good, then why was he at Akron? I mean look guys, it may turn out fine for all I know. I'm just tired of this University trying to hire Diamonds in the rough. They never go after a big splash or well established coach it seems like. Does anyone on here think Alabama would hire this guy?

Really dude? Three years ago we hired a well established big splash HC, and he proved incompetent here. We also hired a big name DL coach, Kul, and turned out he couldn’t recruit a suffocating dude to breath his air.

We got Simpson from high school, w no college experience, and now he’s in the nfl.

Let manny hire who he wants to hire. He hasn’t made any bad coaching hires since he’s been here, so there’s no reason for all that sand to be in your ******.

Quit pretending these decisions are about money, they aren’t. And haven’t been for a while.
