Yes, it was over the top hyperbole to make that statement about a school that pops out D1 players every year in our backyard, when our last one came in what (edit) 2001? We get it, you ****ride that school like no one else here. But there is no reason. That school is dead to miami. We are recruiting kids that weren't even born the last time that school sent someone to the U.
Who?
Jack Allison is gone if Golden is fired, you heard it here first. Destination: UCLA.
He's not lost, just helping UM refocus a bit. He had to decommit because they promised him that he'd be the guy in 2017 and then recently UM has gone out and offered a zillion 2017 QBs like Davis Mills and Chase Brice (both from the Atlanta area). So staying committed would teach UM that he can be treated any kind of way and so it's really a message to them. To be fair, UM may have cooled on him after Coley was red hot on him early. Not to say they don't love him, just not enough to let him be the only offer in the class (which a school should never tell a kid that early) but it's a confirmed fact that UM did this. So with Todd, he's going to look around and camp other places. He'll likely pick up other offers, which is good for him. But he really wants to go to UM.
