I have a suspicion that even fans who have stopped watching the games out of disgust, will muster up the strength to watch today’s game knowing that the results of it will have a major impact on the future of the program.

In fact, because the game is an afternoon game and there will be plenty of time for meetings to happen afterward, even for the older members of the board of trustees, the afternoon and evening will be quite interesting.

I will be hitting refresh on caneinsight until I finally go to sleep tonight out of anticipation.

Even if we win today, I still feel like the winds of change are blowing too hard for there not to be a major disruption and hopeful rebirth.

Let the kick off commence!

The only “winds of change” happening after UM loses today will be the usual suspects blowing hot air. Same thing next week when 12 people show up to Joe Robbie to watch NCSt run through Manny’s defense like crap through a goose.

Even if Manny and Miami pull one out of their *** today; great—team is 3-3 with a revenge-minded North Carolina State on deck.

At Pitt—who looks better than usual—as does Georgia Tech. Road trip to an improving FSU. VT at home—often a tough out—and then at Duke.

This is at best a 6-6 football team. More likely 5-7 and losing in Durham with a bowl game on the line. Possibly even 4-8—and I can't even tell you where those two wins might come from at this rate.

The only "news" the rest of this year will be Manny staving off weekly execution, or monkeyf**king his way to some joke of a win—like he almost did in Virginia, before playing it safe and putting a freshman kicker out there to save his ***, before *DOINK*!!

The people that need to be mad are mad… last 4 weeks…

Don't get your hopes up. Manny is playing with a new QB; he gets credit for a win if we keep within 60 of mighty, mighty UNC.

Have little faith in the administration doing anything before the season is over. Sad but not a sure win left on the schedule. Not even Duke. Watching game day with hope they throw more dirt on the administration.

I do believe that this game will be a big factor in deciding the fate of CMD. A loss, and the Canes are 2-4, 0-2 in the Coastal. A win buys him more time and puts his old boss, Mac Brown, on the hot seat.

I just hope CMD is listening to his assistant coaches more, and teaching his players what they are doing wrong. If he does, the Canes have more than a puncher’s chance today

I always watch the games.. but that doesn't mean I don't turn them off in disgust. I mean it's 1030, 5 hours? from game time, and I'm already ******* mad.

In the Air Tonight, historically an omen for our opponents, takes on an entirely different meaning today. Lol

I watch anymore simply to get a glimpse of the future. Williams, Kitchens, our legit young WRs, Taylor, TVD, Arroyo etc

It’s saved me a lot of hair
