Forced fumbles have gone way down in football, and that makes sense, you can't hit hard anymore basically. Guess you can't try to punch the ball out either.

Its quite disgusting how soft this sport is becoming to be honest. As a whole, not just bc of this

I always wondered why receivers didn’t take Karate so they could chop down on defenders hands when they’re grabbed at the line of scrimmage.

If you can break bricks with those chops gotta believe it wouldn’t take but a couple of them before that DB didn’t grab you anymore …
