The improvement in physicality and tackling from Fitz this season has been VERY noticeable. To the point where, once Lucas comes back, I honestly believe Fitz should be the starter at nickel. He is the only player on this team who can give us what Agent 0 gave this defense last season. That would allow Thornton to move into more of a reserve/special package role, which I think makes a lot of sense.

And with JJ leading the team in tackles two weeks in a row, I think he has completely solidified himself as the starting boundary safety.

That small adjustments would make this secondary so much better in coverage.

I like Damari...but I believe he's our 4th CB. I think Jaboree would have overtaken him this year

Wake will probably end up a top 25 O. Our D is VERY hurt & they hang tough. They were on the field the entire 2H.

Hetherman did some different things and they showed some resilience.. Really started going after the QB and being unrelenting, once he turned up the heat, the dline was able to loosen up.. The simulated pressures and such were a breathe of fresh air.. I just wish we didnt cover grass soo much with country cover 3.. But double mug looks or the flores everyone on the line and you dont know who is coming.. Cover two trap coverage on an important 3rd and short, he was coooooking

I say it all the time I’d rather see talented freshman getting burn learning with mistakes than seeing upperclassmen taking reps and making freshman mistakes. If it’s gonna happen at least it’s hopefully for the better down the road
