Heart, pride, passion, intensity, thats what we have in South Florida in that stadium, on that field, we are ride or die Canes. Whether we get knocked down, left for dead whatever we'll have our star qb throw 4 tds, our defense will beat the other team down and take the ball again and again and again and then we rise from the dead and say "this is who we are you ride with us and you'll never regret it". To every stud recruit left be apart of this U and let's get back to greatness

What game you watching dude? FSU had 5 sacks and 15 TFLs. Perry was harrassed all game. Add in 3-4 dropped passes. Some how you think he should have had a 70% completion game. Give FSU's defense credit. They played well.

Did Perry miss some passes? Of course he did. That was to be expected given it was his 1st rivalry game and all the defensive pressure he faced. The thing that mattered most was that he regained his composure and made the plays we needed to win.

It’s the same defense that gave up 500 yards to Samford. It’s the same defense that got torched by Syracuse. Your kidding yourself if you think his performance was adequate. He plays like this in Blacksburg and we will lose.....
 
Bring me Neal Tyrique Bogle Ingraham Nunn and some others im missing and we can start to challenge for supremacy in CFB. We are already TE U and DE U, if Joe Jackson stays Nascar package the **** out of everyone

Get a f'ing clue. It was obvious they were not the same team that played horrible in the past few games. FSU played really hard. Brought max effort which I expected. I didn't expect them to play well, but they did. They even had a good game plan getting the ball out quickly to avoid Miami's rush. Why is it so hard for you to see and admit? This is why it's a rivalry game!!!! Enough said.

Keep lying to yourself and then in a couple of weeks when we lose in Blacksburg you can be surprised. We have major issues on offense and Special Teams. These are the same issues that we had last year but they never seem to get addressed and in fact the offense looks worse this year than in did last year. There is a reason that most sportswriters think the Canes are imposters!

Hot take, glad you mentioned the struggles with the OL and Special teams, because they haven’t been addressed here in the past. Thank God for such astute fans like you who notice things the rest of us don’t.

nah...I would imagine Offensive Linemen see a great opportunity to get playing time in our beleaguered front, and seeing true freshmen like Wiggins, Jordan and Mallory play in such an important game would make offensive recruits excited as well.

Oh yes because Dexter Williams and ND had so much trouble with VT last night. Get over yourself this team struggled but showed fight and won in a game that they were the better team and our qb showed that he's ready to take us to the next level. **** he should've had 5 TDs if Cage didnt drop that 3rd down pass in the 4th

Blacksburg is a hard place to win at, especially in the cold. If Canes play like the did yesterday then, we will be walking out of there with our second loss....

I agree the special teams are atrocious. They're costing us 14 points a game due to field position. In fact, it cost us 21 points in LSU game. Hartley needs to get in some *** and demand better or find players who will do the job. Spicer is not the answer at punter. He cost us big against FSU. Forty yard punts with no hang time are disastrous.

The offensive line is still a mess and is exposed against better competition. Glad to see Scaife in there. I think we are better off with Donaldson inside and Scaife at RT. Run blocking is so disappointing. Why can't these guys fire off the ball. Watching GT blow out Louisville on the ground where their lineman fire off the ball and get to the 2nd level. I'm like, "why can't our guys do that?" GT double teams certain defenders , pulls, traps, and kicks out. It's beautiful. We have this zone blocking scheme that isn't working. Also, our run plays are horrible. Or should I say run play (singular). All we do is hand the ball off with the RB crossing the face of the QB. So obvious and easy to disect pre snap. I think it allows the defense to tee off giving the o-line more problems.

Do I think the offense is worse than last year? **** no!!! We are in better hands with Perry at QB. More depth at RB and WR. Just need better blocking in the run and pass game.

Perry was off for sure. He was also running for his life, the running game was not effective and there were several drops. Love the dude but Cager by himself had 4 including 2 TD’s. He led a 21 point second half comeback against our arch rival. That’s legendary stuff.
